How do we treat Low Back Pain?

Dr. Blood feels that the best way to treat low back pain is finding the cause first.  We would do a thorough consultation, history, and examination to determine the underlying cause(s).

Once this is completed a common treatment plan may look like this:

First, we will address your muscles spasms and tension with massage therapy techniques and modalities. Next, we will decompress any known herniated, bulging or degenerated discs with flexion/distratction therapy and/or Spinal Traction/Decompression. Then we will increase circulation to the area and decrease pain with our revolutionary Class IV Deep Tissue Laser. Then will provide your body with all the necessary supplements and vitamins that it needs to promote healing and decrease inflammation. Some patients may benefit from spinal manipulation which helps increase joint range of motion.  And finally, we will use specific equipment and exercises to strengthen the exact muscles that will be needed to ensure the most long term results and success. It is this comprehensive approach that has led to the changing of hundreds of lives around the area.
